Speaker Materials Submission Portal
Thank you for being a speaker for Raising the Bar, Ilumni Institute’s monthly, virtual CLE for family law professionals.
As the host and CLE provider for the program, Ilumni will:
-
Ensure your presentation qualifies for CLE credits from state bars around the U.S.
-
Create marketing materials to promote the presentation.
This portal allows you to submit all the content we need to meet those needs. Please complete the form below.

Know Your Audience: Keep in mind attendees are family law attorneys from across the U.S. Avoid focusing on state-specific laws or practices, unless illustrating a relevant point.
Keep Slides Simple: Ensure your slides are clean but with enough content to keep the audience following along.
Check for Typos: Proofread your presentation before sending the final to the Ilumni Team.
End with Action: Consider sharing additional resources, links, and/or your contact info so attendees can get in touch with you for further questions.
Tech Tips
Manage Your Timing
Test Your Tech: Test your mic, camera, and Zoom functions before the session.
Check Lighting and Sound: Use proper lighting and a good microphone to ensure the audience can clearly see and hear you.
Be Prepared for Tech Issues: Have a secondary internet connection or device ready. In case you’re disconnected, have a plan in place to reconnect quickly, either by restarting Zoom or rejoining via another device.
Practice Makes Perfect: Run through your presentation in advance to ensure you stay within your time limit.
Allow Time for Q&A: While the presentation itself should wrap up in an hour, allow time at the end or throughout the presentation to field questions from attendees (see Run of Show).
